Sorry all, I had my information mixed up.......so diesregard the previous blog. PRISM is participating in the "Projects Tebts HAITI Benefit Expo". This is the picture of the item that Journey McLaglen created for the event. If you feel like shopping, please attend this event as the proceeds will be going to a good cause.

RE: “Project Tents HAITI Benefit Expo” organized by Project Tents and Peace Train Charitable Trust for ShelterBox – May 21st through May 30th, 2010.

Over four months ago a devastating 7.0 earthquake hit the country of Haiti just outside the capital of Port-au-Prince. Four months seems like a lifetime ago, so many other natural occurrences have impacted citizens of the world since then, but the work in Haiti has only just begun. The May 24th issue of Time Magazine reports concerns that living conditions in Haiti are getting worse with the storm season now upon the region. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians still are without any permanent shelter, their only protection from the elements are makeshift tents created from materials found in the rubble. Without a solid base to these structures, many Haitians go to sleep at night in extremely damp surroundings sometime unable to escape pools of water left by the torrential rains. Relief organizations are working as fast as they can to provide permanent shelter but it may be years until any normalcy is brought back to Haiti.

This is why Project Tents along with the Peace Train Charitable Trust is honored to announce and bring to Second Life the Project Tents HAITI Benefit Expo, a fund-raising event for ShelterBox. ShelterBox is a recognized international fund-raising organization that provides quality shelters for those displaced by disasters. The shelters, provided for those displaced in Haiti, are quality tents that can fit up to 10 people each and are built to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds and heavy rainfall. These are only temporary homes but are safe & reliable until permanent homes are completed.

With the National Hurricane Center in the US predicting an active Atlantic Hurricane season and Haiti being right in the middle of ‘Hurricane Alley’, finding reliable shelters is extremely important and why we are excited to organize this fund-raising event for ShelterBox.

Project Tents HAITI Benefit Expo, is a benefit exposition featuring members of Second Life’s fashion industry, created by Project Tents, a non-profit group in-world group of models and designers in Second Life. The exposition will feature creations of many of top designers of Second Life fashion, as well as musical performances sponsored in cooperation with the Peace Train Charitable Trust. We, the members of Project Tents, want to first thank you for your support and any donations we may receive to our fundraiser to benefit the people of Haiti. Project Tents HAITI Benefit Expo will open May 21st and run through May 30th (See SLURL links listed below). All of the designers will be offering exclusive and limited edition items which will only be available at the expo.

About Hope For Haiti Now:

100% of the donations received by Hope For Haiti Now will be distributed among its partners and will go directly to relief organizations on the ground in Haiti. No administrative costs or other program expenses are charged by "Hope for Haiti Now."

The goal of Hope for Haiti Now is to raise funds for Haiti relief efforts and deliver that support as quickly and responsibly as possible. Its partner organizations have been working on the ground in Haiti for years. Every charity is an established tax-exempt nonprofit organization. These partners are well-respected within the nongovernmental organization (NGO) community and have a long-standing and productive relationship with either MTV Networks, CNN or George Clooney. The organizations will also continue to collaborate with each other. In response to the crisis in Haiti, The Clinton Bush Haiti Relief Fund, was recently co-created by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush at the request of President Barack Obama, to fulfill unmet needs in the region and improve quality of life over the long term.

Hope for Haiti Now is a fund held with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization based in California. EIF is a 68-year-old non-profit organization that has raised millions of dollars to address health, education and other issues on behalf of the entertainment industry. EIF meets all 20 U.S. Better Business Bureau Standards and has also handled large-scale fundraising efforts like American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" and Stand Up 2 Cancer. On a pro bono basis, EIF is providing due diligence and philanthropic support for "Hope for Haiti Now" to ensure proper fiduciary oversight and administration of all donated funds.

Here are the rules and please be aware that this is a work in progress for our staff and the rules of the contest might be changed as we go along.............but to get you started......

Prism by Journey is holding a photo contest to find 3 models to join the existing group of girls, to be featured on our vendors and store art. We want to see your beautiful avatars dressed up in Prism outfits. Please read the rules and details of prizes below:

*The model in the photo must be wearing Prism outfit.

*Only the model in the photo please.

*There is no theme, but be creative. You do not have to just send studio shots.

*Photoshopping is encouraged, but the lingerie needs to be recognizable.

*No nudity or explicit images.

*One entry per person per monthly contest.

*By entering your image you are agreeing to allow Prism to use your photo for display both in-store and as promotional material.

What we need from you=============Make a folder in your inventory called

For the next 24 hours, Journey will be offering her newest outfit with like 14 attachments for 50% of the normal price. The outfit is called Loxley and consist of a sweater option, a stripped top, several different scraves depending on which to you select to wear, and there are two different sock options, prim cuffs and more and cute prim boots to match the outfit. It is perfect to keep you warm in SL.

Also, there are approximately 10 presents under the tree just as you enter the store and I will feature what is in the present over the next few day, but you definitely want to stop and grab any and all presents that are under the tree.............there are some very nice items for free.

Hello Everyone..............have you stopped by PRISM lately.......has you seen the new build? Did you check out the newest releases and hit the Sub-Scribe so that you are aware of the special deals and pick up the newest Dollarbie........?

You should stop by for a visit and check out not only PRISM, but also some of the other stores that are now in the new sim of Bal Harbour. Yes, Journey McLaglen made the decision to buy the sim and there are lots of new things happening at Bal Harbour. Journey has stores available for new designers that might need a option for a place to open a main store in a high traffic sim. Wicked has moved into the sim and they are enjoying the traffic and there are constantly people in the stores............if you hurry by you might be able to locate the 3 DOLLARBIES that can be found by searching the vendors at Wicked.

Hello, I know that we have been silent for a little while, but Journey McLaglen has been rebuilding PRISM. And now she has started designing some fall clothes, she is planning an opening event for the new PRISM, but she wanted to go ahead and get out her lastest design called The Herra Dress.

The Herra Dress comes in four colors - and it is a cute off the shoulder dress with a dotted pattern to the fabric of the outfit. Journey used a tiny system skirt with a lot of detail and overlayed it with a sheer flexi skirt of the same fabric to create a marvelous effect. You will simply love the elegance of this dress.

Now as usual when Journey has a release event which is starting as soon as I post this blog......she generally has a fantastic DOLLARBIE Outfit and this gift outfit is no exception. Journey is giving out the outfit called The Flower Girl and it can be yours if you simply drop by PRISM and spend one linden. The outfit includes shoes that are well worth the single linden.

Hello, you might want to run over to PRISM after you read this blog. Journey McLaglen has built a new PRISM. It is on the same sim, but the store is absolutely gorgeous and the entire area and sim actually has the appearance of the Tampa Bay area.

And while you are dropping by for a visit, there will be a grand opening next weekend, you want to be sure to grab the really cute dollarbie outfit that Journey has placed out for you. I have to admit that I was wrong in my reporting of the name of the gown, but I do believe that a number of you got my drift as you showed up at the event looking for the lovely gown. TODAY - Thursday - July 9th at 7PM SLT..............

Hello, we are back after the 4th of July Holidays and there are some exciting things going on at PRISM. Keep your ear to the wall for things upcoming in the future for PRISM.....but today, Journey McLaglen will be having a release event at 7PM SLT. Journey has created some stunning swim wear for those that are more into the athletic look and the cut of the swim wear instead of sexy and cute. Journey's swim wear called WET will be the featured items in today's release.

Also we wish to thank all that showed up and made purchases during our first ever "SALE". It was a huge success and many made purchases. Sorry if you missed your chance to purchase any thing in PRISM for only L$100. But it was such a success that you might watch for notices of future sales.

Mystique by Journey

Yesterday, I informed all of you that Journey McLaglen had a new dress to be released for you called Mystique by Journey (see above).......so if you wish some to read about that dress and see the photos, please refer to the previous blog in this series. The release event, I think, is supposed to be this evening at approximately 7PM SLT. Now I inquired as to what the "DOLLARBIE" outfit would be so that I could blog it for you and Journey turned me loose to search all her items on the second floor and to select an outfit that I thought would make a great "DOLLARBIE" for all of you and I selected the outfit called THE BLUES by Journey.

I believe that this outfit is simply adorable. I made the selection and Journey passed the outfit to me and I have not taken it off since I put on the outfit. The top is on the jacket layer and is sexy with all the "openings" in the top, but does not reveal any essential parts if you are wimpy about that and there is a short and long version. There are several options and ways to wear this outfit so you have some selections and several possible combinations. I chose to wear the blue pants to match the jacket, but there are both short capris and black pants included with the outfit and a prim attachment for the bottom of the jacket if you care to have a more fancy look to the jacket. I added a flexi tie around the neck to simply add another plus to the outfit, but it is truly a blue, blue outfit and different and definitely worth your time to make an effort to drop by and pick up the "Dollarbie" that Journey is offering. Take time to check out the release of the newest dress and I would imagine that there is a gift for any that make a purchase over the next 48 hours.

Mystique by Journey

Journey McLaglen, the owner and designer for PRISM has a sensational new dress called Mystique by Journey with a very interesting texture. I will equate the texture to having the appearance of mosaic tiles in a very interesting piece of art work. I love the construction of the dress and there is a cute flower effect as an attachment to the front. You can opt to wear or not wear this prim attachment. There are gloves of the same colors and texture of the dress with prim attachments at the top of the gloves to give the outfit a very interesting effect. When I put on the outfit, I chose to change the point of attachment for the flower attachment so that I could wear a necklace also, but that was very easily changed to my chin and the necessary adjustments made for this lovely outfit.

This sensational outfit will be released in a day or so at PRISM..........stayed tuned and join the Subscribe - O - Matic in the store to a part of the news from PRISM. I know that there are going to be additional releases this week along with this lovely dress. It is so worth being a part of the group that drops by PRISM as Journey McLaglen is always such a gracious designer and constantly giving away nice items to her customers.

A Photo Moment.............

Have I got a story for you........pull up you chair and sit down a moment and let me tell you this story.

As many of you know, I participate in SL as a model and I work for various modeling agencies. Besides working as a model, I write the blogs for Journey McLaglen for her store PRISM and several others, but since this is Journey's blog for her store.........I will stick to only mentioning that I write the blog for this store. At any rate, my story involves the events that have lead up to a sensational creation by Journey McLaglen that she will be releasing in PRISM........I think today.

The story all started when I was answered a casting call to model for a photo shoot the very next day. Within minutes of being awarded the spot for the photo shoot, I was passed a photograph and given some instructions as to how they wished for me to dress in regard to skin, hair and outfit for the shoot. I was asked to wear a shape that I would be provided by Ohren Beck and appear on time and ready for the shoot the following day. Here is the photo that I was given. I was asked to try to come as close as I could to matching this photo from a RL fashion ad.

Well, I looked at the photo and figured that I would not have any problem searching my inventory for a darker skin than I normally wear and I could certainly find a hair that would appear the same as featured in the photograph, but where was I going to find a dress that would even come close to the dress that was pictured. It dawned on me that I had seen and knew of a dress that was somewhat similar to the dress that was pictured and I sent an IM to Journey McLaglen and requested help in my quest for this dress. Journey had the following dress already for sale in her store and I had blogged it in a previous blog.

FIERCE by Journey

Journey to the rescue...........she told me not to worry that she believed that she could come up with a gown version to go with the top that she had already created since she had already created and used that texture. I left Journey to work on the design and searched the grid for the perfect hair and my inventory for the perfect skin and just kept my fingers crossed that I could compliment the shape that was passed to me to model.

I am not a designer and I have to marvel at watching anyone design, but Journey did such a marvelous job of matching the dress in the photograph that is was simply unbelieveable. Much later that evening, she called me to join her. Breathlessly, I put on all the items that I had gathered in my attempt to match the photograph and Journey handed me the skirt that she had created...........OMG, the resulting combination of items was spectacular. We were both so excited. We had done a fantastic job of duplicating the appearance of the RL photograph. All that was needed was for me to be dressed and appear for the photo shoot in good order.

I was ready and waiting when I received the TP to appear for the photo shoot. Needless to say, the photographer commented - "WOW", Where did you find that dress to match the photograph; that I had done an excellent job of duplicating the style of the RL photograph. I cannot say that I really was the key here to achieving THE LOOK, but I have to say that Journey McLaglen did an excellent job of creating an outfit that photographed well enough to duplicate the desired fashion in SL. Way to go Journey and thank you so much...............! Now I was asked not to show the photograph that was taken for the publication and the reason for the photo shoot, but since Journey had taken the time to create the gown part of an existing outfit...........she made photos for the ads for the release of this outfit for anyone that might wish to acquire the gown. I believe that she will be releasing this gown on the grid today and she will be having a release event.

PRISM - Event and Release......

Come this evening to PRISM and see the new items that Journey McLaglen has created for you. Journey will be having an event at PRISM at approximately 7PM SLT. Journey will be releasing a new dress this evening called Heather by Journey and it will be available in at least four colors. The dress features a cute bodice with a very sexy look to the front and a cute effect but very tastefully done. The midriff is sheer with a flexi skirt. Journey has added a scarf for the neck and leg warmers to each outfit as accessories that you make select to wear.

Many people that I have run into love the Inspired by Journey sweater dress and I am certainly no exception. Journey already offeres the Inspired in Black, Red and White in her store and on St. Patrick's Day, Journey offered the Inspired in Green. We were chatting with Journey just the other day and asked for her to bring back the Inspired in Green as it was such a lovely outfit we had not wanted her to remove it from her store. So here I am..........Inspired in Green will be back in PRISM for you to purchase. I also must inform you to be on the watch for Inspired to be released in additional colors.

Prism - time for a new release!

You will want to make your way over to PRISM this evening for the release event that will be held at the main store of PRISM on the Tampa Bay sim - the usual event time is 7PM SLT. And there are several reasons why you should be sure to stop by and check things out this evening......

FIRST........the new release. The MUSIQUE BANDAGE DRESS by Journey. You are just going to love this dress. It is so colorful and so well made. Journey did a fantastic job of matching up the stripes from the front to the back and matching some other things that only designers actually understand. The back of the dress appears to have a zipper and the sculpted skirt is fantastic to complete the whole outfit. I will have to try to photograph myself in this dress as I added the XL White Pearl set from Ruffian and some thigh high white boots and I will be styling.

The newest creation by Journey McLaglen of PRISM has created quite a stir on the grid. Her new skirt creation with her FRILLS Outfit By Journey is a new and exciting design that I had not seen elsewhere on the grid and evidently neither had a number of others as the blogs were ablaze with photos and comments about the new skirt on the FRILLS Outfits. Journey introduced 6 colors and textures last week during her weekly release and because we all loved the outfit so much - this week, Journey is releasing another 6 sensational colors and textures of the FRILLS Outfit by Journey. I have seen a number of bloggers commenting on her new type of skirt and I happen to know that she is overwhelmed by how much everyone loves her design.

This week, as I mentioned, Journey is releasing another 6 colors of the FRILLS Outfit by Journey. Generally Journey does not create more than a couple of colors of any outfit, but since FRILLS was such a hit.........she chose to release additional colors. Of couse, those of us in her group of models, could not decide on all the colors that we would like so Journey just tried all the colors that we selected and it has resulted in 12 colors of the FRILLS Outfit by Journey. Hello........ Spring is in the air and Journey McLaglen of PRISM has created the cutest new outfit with a ton of options for you. You cannot possibly go wrong with purchasing this outfit. This evening at the release event at PRISM in The Fashion District of Tampa Bay............at approximately 7PM SLT, the BLOSSOM Outfit by Journey will be released. The outfit will be available in a choice of colors which will be in Blue, Black Paisley, Peach, Pink and Yellow. Not the outfit has a lot to it and so many options...........the outfit includes a shrug with a color to match the skirt, a long tank top with a design to match the skirt on the trim and on the tank itself and you can remove the pants part to have a shorter version of the tank if you wish. Once you remove the shrug on the jacket layer, and the tank on the shirt layer and pants, then you are left with the cutest bra and panties or they are so nice you could even wear them to the beach as a swim suit. Hello, new release at PRISM this week is the Gemmie Dress and Journey McLaglen made the dress in five colors...........now it is very unusual for Journey to create any of her outfits in a group of colors, but she had such fun making this dress that she created five different colors for her customers. Now the outfit consist of a cute tube top with piping and sheer around the midrif. It comes with an option of either a sculpted skirt and a flexi skirt.......I love it when you have the option of either skirt as I have a very hard time getting a sculpted skirt to look decent on me. And I happened to be one of the models that was chose to be featured in one of the ads for the new dress..........So here is the Gemmie Dress in Purple...............and Journey had all of us that were modeling for her run out and get those really cute high top Porno Tennis shoes that are the rage.............

Pictures really make a difference...............

I am sure that this has happened to you, but take this to heart because the right settings and such make all the world of difference when you make ads for items that you have for sale in your store.........you really have to pay attention to eye appeal in our virtual world. Journey McLaglen has been redoing some of the ads for the outfits that she has designed in her store and until she redid this ad.........I never really noticed this outfit in her store, but once she put up the new artwork for the ad......OMG, I had to have this outfit. So designers, pay attention........you must have eye appeal when displaying ads in your stores...........

Anyway, I would like to mention that this outfit - Fierce By Journey is simply an awesome outfit and so noticeable when you select it to purchase and wear for a special occasion. The black and white contrasting of the bodice is exceptional with the cute flexi script with the bow attachment. You will be styling when you wear this lovely outfit.

Arygle Outfits at PRISM!

Argyle patterns for outfits has been a favorite of mine for many years......always reminds me of fashion trends that have come back and Journey McLaglen, the owner and designer of PRISM has created three gorgeous Arygle Sweater/Top and Skirts sets. Of course, since I bugged Journey to design these she honored me with using me to photograph the Arygle Sweater Outfit in Green by Journey.

And the outfit is available in a grey with a lovely lavendar pattern and yellow piping.

And also available in black with a pink and gray coloring to the arygle pattern. All very nicely done and very lovely.

Release Event at PRISM! FREE OUTFIT....and boots.

Hello and welcome to the first release event of 2009 for PRISM. Journey McLaglen has created a couple of gorgeous new outfits that will be officially released this evening at PRISM -Main Store in The Fashion District of Tampa Bay. I previously blogged the new Super Star by Journey outfit and also releasing this evening is this really cute.......Petaloompa Outfit by Journey. LOL, now I probably have the name wrong, but you cannot miss the outfit.

The bodice of the dress is a lovely pattern with fine lavender trimming and gorgeous detailing to the back of the dress. The flexi skirt will have you dancing for joy.

Journey has created a new outfit called the Super Star by Journey. It features a special item in the outfit called The Wrap and The Wrap attaches to the chest and is not on a layer of clothing. This is a marvelous feature as it gives you the option to add a shrug to the outfit on another layer of the clothing in case you are cold natured in SL. Otherwise, the outfit has an adorable top to it with a detailed neck that extends around your neck and no jewelry will be needed to accentuate the outfit. Both the wrap and the pants are created with a very nice tweed texture with nice detailing and there are prim attachments to the pants. You will love this outfit and the NEW LOOK............stop by PRISM to grab this outfit when it is released.

OMG! OMG! OMG! PRISM is moving on up to the high rent district. Journey McLaglen has opened a branch store of PRISM and she is calling it JOURNEY’S. The new store is situated in the infamous SL BOULEVARD II owned by the very well known Frolic Mills and positioned on the upper level right next to another branch of GLAM COUTURE. So fitting that Dave Casanova and Journey McLaglen, that are partners in SL, should each have new branches of their main stores at the new glamourous location.

The new JOURNEY’S is a gorgeous branch of Journey McLaglen’s main store PRISM at The Fashion District and will feature the newer releases as they are created by Journey. Of course, if you are a faithful follower of the creations by Journey McLaglen…….you will have to return to the main store to find her entire collection that she currently has for sale. With the new store, Journey is redoing and readvertising some of her existing creations and that meant making new ads……….YEAH, I got the chance to model another one of her gorgeous outfits and to be featured in the ad. This lovely outfit that I am wearing is Wysteria by Journey. The outfit comes with several options as far as the top and includes some additional leggings and shoes are even included with the outfit so that you have no need to have to look for the perfect shoes to match the outfit. Journey generally tries to accessorize and include total outfits.

Inspired in Red by Journey

Hello, here I am getting to model for the ad for the new Inspired in Red Sweater Dress that was created by Journey McLaglen. I really loved the black and white versions of this dress that Journey created and for the holidays, I suggested and begged her to create a red version of the dress............she finally gave in and created the dress with lovely prim sleeves and the great knit texture of the skirt and she accentuated the dress with her own creation of an arygle designed belt. The outfit is really stunning and perfect for the holidays.

I added to the outfit -which matched perfectly - the red colored Dune boots from Maitreya. CHRISTMAS RELEASE TODAY AT PRISM - WEDNESDAY

OMG, you need to run right over to PRISM and snap up the new creation of Journey McLaglen. Journey has created a gorgeous outfit for the holidays. It is a spectacular gold outfit called Christmas Angel by Journey and it features a bodice with a pleat texture across the top with a bodice that has the effect of embroidery with rose stems gracing each side of the bodice resulting in roses in bloom. The skirt is modeled after her creation that has been so popular called SeaDance by Journey with the lovely prim skirt with a netting effect. Stripped Sweaters & Pants at PRISM!

I know, I know, I blogged these yesterday.......BUT.......I did not have all the variations that are going to be available...........so here you will find pictures of the 6 lovely stripped colors combinations in this week's release from PRISM............

Look what you can expect from Journey McLaglen this week at PRISM............OMG.......some very nice sweater and pants combinations. Journey has created 6 different stripped sweaters with prim collars and prim sleeves and the option to have the sweater appear to be tucked in or not tucked in. There are a lot of sweaters in SL at this time, but I have not seen a lot of stripped sweaters and these sweaters have the color combinations that just make you want to grab them all. Now Journey normally releases new outfits on Wednesday evening, but due to a sudden trip that she had to make out of town, the release this week will probably occur on Thursday, so you have to wait one more day to be able to grab these lovelies.

Cherrie is just the kind of outfit that you need for the fall weather that our portion of the world is moving into at this time of year. When I am cold in RL, I want to appear in SL in something warm and the Cherrie Outfit designed by Journey McLaglen will fill my ticket. The cute red jacket can be worn over the adorable top for those times when you would prefer to have something extra on your arms and yet the outfit is adorable alone without the jacket. Halloween is over.........

Finally Halloween is over in SL and perhaps we can all return to a normal life in SL.....that is until it is time for the Thanksgiving Hunts. I do not know about all of you, but I could not believe the number of hunts this year for Halloween or the quality of the items that the designer and store owners were giving away. If you had done any inventory purging.......and I mean purging prior to the hunts.........then all was for nothing since you refilled your inventory with all the items found from hunting. Too bad everyone does not get together and have one "BIG" hunt so that you are not so confused as to where you are going or what you are hunting for...............

But back to fashion at PRISM.......back at the beginning of October, Journey McLaglen released a cute number called Sweet Tart and it is available in 6 different colors. I blogged the outfit when it was first release but only provided photos of the Sweet Tart in Blue. Journey McLaglen is away on a little trip and I was wandering around PRISM looking for something to drop a blog on and I stopped in front of the WAKE UP MAGGIE outfit by Journey and said......"HELLO".......when did Journey release that outfit..........it says "NEW" above the photo ad on the wall and as I studied the outfit I realized that Journey had used some of the same designs to the outfit as her SEADANCE by Journey that I love so much. If you love that gorgeous SEADANCE by Journey outfit then you are going to want to consider coming to PRISM and purchasing WAKE UP MAGGIE. The outfit features the same sexy skirt with whispy additions but the skirt is in black. There is a cute jacket for the cold weather that is approaching us in RL and I am sure that the outfit is just as gorgeous with the jacket off.

Sweater Dress Release and Free Outfit

Journey MgLaglen held an exciting release event at PRISM at The Fashion District on the Tampa Bay sim on Wednesday evening and released three awesome sweater dresses in three different colors and the outfit is called Inspired by Journey. I am featuring the brown sweater dress in this blog and check my previous blog for photos of the black and white version. The sweater dresses have a very nice knit texture to them and they are sensual in their appearance as are all the designs that are created by Journey. And this lovely white lacey outfit called Lily Coconut was given away as a free outfit for those that attended the event. This outfit should be available for about 24 hrs and then Journey will remove it from the store. Upcoming Release.....The Sweater Dress.

Journey McLaglen told me that she was going to come out with something special for a new release. I do not believe that this gorgeous sweater dress is the "special" that I am holding my breathe about, but nonetheless, Journey has created a spectacular knit sweater dress and I believe that it is supposed to come in more colors than just black and white as I have featured here. The dress features off the shoulder tiny straps and prim sleeves for that fall look that we all love that we can achieve in SL and a cute flexi skirt. To tie the top and the skirt together, Journey has decorated the dress with some of the marvelous belts that we have seen from PixelDolls on another layer. These sweater dresses are scheduled to be available in the weekly release that generally occurs at PRISM in the Fashion District of Tampa Bay (106/39/23) on Wednesday at approximately 7:30PM SLT. Be reminded that Journey usually offers a fantastic free outfit with each release and those that make a purchase during a release event are generally rewarded with the gift of another outfit from Journey within a few days. I have always been attracted to this outfit that Journey McLaglen has for sale in PRISM called LOVE CUTS that features a really cute top with some fishnetting effect that is an option that you can choose to wear or simply wear the bodice top alone. There are both boot cut jeans or regular jeans in the package and BOOTS to match the outfit are included. AND if you do not have the funds to purchase this outfit, I will tell you that I have seen it available in the LUCKY CHAIRS here at the Fashion District. PRISM released this week - 6 variations of a cute outfit called Sweet Tart by Journey. The outfit can be worn in several way as there is a shrug sweater with a prim collar and a flexi skirt. There are high socks included and BOOTS.........yes, there are BOOTS included with this outfit. The outfit comes in red, pink, purple, orange, green and blue as pictured. Very cute outfit for those that love the plaids and short skirts that go great with the long looking legs and boots.

The event at PRISM last night was huge. Since Halloween Costumes were being given out to those that made a purchase during the event, you would have thought that it was Halloween already in the sim. We had the sim full of people arriving to see the new releases and to pick up the free offers. A free outfit called Aspen was offered to all and those that made a purchase were given a really nicely made Halloween Costume of their choice.

Journey very much appreciated all the people that showed up for the event. Many old customers and followers of Journey and Prism - found her again and wonderful comments about the clothes and the nice free items were flowing freely in the sim. Aspen Outfit by Journey

This evening at PRISM - 10/1/2008 at 7:30PM SLT, Journey McLaglen will be putting out a couple of new outfits - not sure what is being released, but I will blog the outfits in a future report. The outfit pictured above - ASPEN will be a free outfit for everyone. Journey is always in the habit of giving away an outfit with each release in her store. And since Halloween is quickly approaching, Journey decided to put out some FREE - YES - more FREE items for you - in the way of Halloween costumes for both men and women.

These are the three outfits that Journey will have available for the men that come by the sim. In Prism there will be boxes with the photos of the outfits. By simply touching the box and selecting an outfit, everyone will be given a notecard that they will need to fill out and forward to Journey and in return she will send out the outfits after the event.

I have showed this outfit to countless people and brought them to PRISM to find the outfit. I have to laugh when all the models in the store want to model this dress and when three of us are standing in the store at one time - all in the same outfit. Does that tell you something? Anyway, I am having trouble keeping this a secret - so I will not......

Journey mentioned to me that if we all thought the SeaDance Outfit was so nice........she had something really exciting in store for us. I cannot wait - more exciting than this outfit??????

Let me tell you that being a fashion model at the Fashion District in Tampa Bay is really a delight especially when you are working for such nice people as Journey McLaglen, the owner/designer for PRISM and Dave Cassanova, the owner of GLAM COUTURE. Weekly when Journey gets ready to put out her newest creations, her models gather around and chat while Journey loads the outfits and she showers her models with the new outfits that she will be putting on in the store. Everyone is busy trying on the new outfits and getting boots and shoes as necessary to accent the new releases.........anyway, such was the case last night at the Tampa Bay sim and right out in the middle of PRISM. You would have thought we were have a party.........Hey, if a customer walks in while the releases are being put out.........they might even get an outfit.

Her designs are classy and sexy at the same time and the styling is fantastic. Pictured here is the final dress from the release last week at PRISM. This outfit is called SeaDance by Journey and the beauty of this dress cannot be put into words. The texture of the dress and the coloring add to the charm and there is an underskirt that is beautifully done and gives the dress that little extra to make it so special.

IT'S ME.......Sneak Preview Of Upcoming Release!

Model Loxley Tatham reporting that I am sporting a new RELEASE that will be available from PRISM on Wednesday, October 24 at approximately 7:30PM SLT. The owner/designer Journey McLaglen has power again at her home and she is back on line since the hurricane invaded her area and her creative talents were brewing while she was gone. She has four exciting outfits to release this week in her normal fashion and one that she will be offering as a freebie to all that attend the event. Journey is generally generous enough to leave the free outfit out for more than just the event, but if you would like to chat with Journey herself........she is always at the events to welcome customers. I will blog the other releases in another post......mark your calendar for the upcoming event. This Wednesday 7:30PM SLT - ?.

This outfit is called Film Diva by Journey. I happened by the sim early this morning and Journey and Sofie Ducasse, model and photographer, were there and happy to see me. As a Fashion District Model, Journey at times ask some of us to model for the photos for the new releases and I was selected to model this gorgeous outfit. Journey wanted to create a look of the return to the 40's and she designed a yummy dress with an interesting pattern and accentuated the dress with black in the bodice, the waist and on the hem of the skirt. I simply wore this dress the rest of my day in SL as I could not bear to take it off. Come to PRISM for the release event on Wednesday.....see you there.

There is "SOMETHING" about black and pink!

I do not know why, but I love the combination of black and pink and the outfit Hollywood in three variations that is offered at PRISM (created by Journey McLaglen) just captures my love of the use of black and pink together. The outfit consist of a really cute tight fitting and figure accentuating top with a dotting effect at the top of the bodice and framed and enhanced by the bow and that gorgeous hot pink color. The dress can be purchased in three different ways with a long skirt, a shorter skirt and a mini skirt. When I saw this outfit on the walls of the store, I just had to add it to my vast wardrobe and I have loved pulling it out and wearing it around. The outfit includes long gloves that add an interesting accessory to the outfit. Be sure to come by PRISM in the Tampa Bay sim and take a look at the fashions offered.

Party Dress for the weekend!

I just love PLAID........and Prism has the cutest plaid outfit called SASSY. The outfit can be found on the second floor of Prism and for the very reasonable price of only L$280.

The outfit has a cute corset top that could be used to mix and match with other pants or jeans and there is a cute skirt with a belt attached and also some really cute short shorts just in case you would rather not wear the skirt.

Journey McLaglen is the owner and designer behind the fashions of Prism. Prism is glamourous and stylish clothing store for women in SL. Journey is very good to her customers and a delightful designer to chat with if you can stop her long enough to have a chat with her. She is a very busy lady and always on the go. She generally offers a special each week in her store where she bestows a free outfit on everyone that stops by for the event. If the customers signs up on the subscribe - o - matic for Prism, they are presented with an addtional outfit and Journey generally reviews the sales that are made during the event and rewards those customers with an additional outfit that they will be happy to discover in their inventory. Having said all of this, we know that Journey is safe in the Houston, Texas area having experienced the storm that fell up on that community by Ike. Journey is currently without power and unable to access SL, but she is safe. Well it is reported that Hurricane Ike will be hitting the coast of Texas in the Galveston area by early morning on the 13th of September........Saturday, OMG at least not Friday the 13th, however, the owner of Prism - Journey McLaglen lives in the Texas area and is in the path of the hurricane. Hopefully Journey will evacuate the area, along with her computer, so that she can stay in touch with those of us in SL. Good luck and be safe - Journey - we will hold you in our hearts.

On a brighter note, a really cute outfit name Flower Girl and modeled by Sofie Ducasse can be found in Prism. The outfit sports a cute sweater for those chilly evenings that are quickly approaching. As I model in the store for Journey because Journey believes in having real models modeling her outfits in her store, I get to study the outfits that are displayed on the walls of the store and this outfit is quickly becoming one of my favorites.............visit Prism and you will adore the clothes that Journey McLaglen creates.

New Release at Prism.........

Here I am again already..........well, it seems that Journey McLaglen, the owner and designer of Prism has a new release that will be coming out today.......yes, today. And generally with a new release, Journey holds an event and there will be a free outfit in the offering. I am not sure what the free outfit will be this evening, but I do have a photograph of the outfit that is going to be released and I can tell you that it is really a cute one.

The release for the evening is an outfit called Sofie and the lovely model in the photograph and the photographer is Sofie DuCasses. Journey's outfits generally come with everything that you would see the model wearing in the photograph.

FYI........there is generally an event at Prism every Wednesday evening at approximately 7PM SLT until 9PM SLT (forgive me if I have the times slightly off and I will be more accurate as I get in the swing of this blogging) and I will provide an LM and link in the future. An Introduction to Prism......

Hello, this is Loxley Tatham. I have been a resident in SL for over a year now and it has been a marvelous experience. I have met so many people and fed my addiction for shopping and getting to dress in all sorts of marvelous styles. I have even tried my hand at entering fashion contest and modeling and now I have been asked to try blogging for the Fashion District located at Tampa Bay.

One of the stores at Tampa Bay is Prism that is owned by Journey McLaglen. Journey is a very energetic and upstyle designer for all the fashion that she offers at her store. Journey also is a very generous designer in that she host events on a weekly basis along with weekly releases of her new creations. During the events, she offers a free outfit to all that attend the event and she has been known to search the sales of the evening and bestows an additional gift on all that make a purchase during the event. There is also a subscribe-o-matic clearly visible as you enter the store that will distribute an outfit to all those that subscribe.
